View Full Version : got some trail magic today I don't start till may
I ran into a guy today from Maine. We started talking about hiking he lives an hour from Katahdin. He has hiked katahdin 4 times. I told him I was thru-hiking this year and he got so excited. He wants to hike it with me then down knifes edge. Then offered to take me to dinner and let me stay with him that night. After all that he's gonna drive me to the airport the next day. I had no plan for getting home once finished. I only talked to him for 5 minutes. #hikertrust oh yeah I'm in Florida. #trailmagic

Sounds great for your thru, the trail is happy with you :) I got quite a bit of pre-hike trail magic, also post hike, so yes the trail does provide and loves her children.

Coincidentally I have a connection in ME who wants to summit Mount K with me as well then give me a ride to Portland. I'll have to propose the knife's edge!
