I also posted this under "hooking up", and PCT, so excuse me for posting again if you've read this there.
I've been sectioning the AT for several years, but I enjoy seeing the greener parts of the western US also, so if anyone is interested in a partner for a 10-14 day section of CDT, PCT, other long trails or even combo backcountry and dayhiking/campsites in Yellowstone, Glacier, or any of the large National Parks, let me know here or by PM. My best pace is about 15 miles per day, but with a good partner I can adjust down to 10 or as high as 18-20 miles per day with more prep. I like seeing trees and meadows more than spending all my time high above the tree line. I have no maps and trail guides except of Yellowstone, where I spent 6 days, and Big Bend, which is not really a summertime destination. I want to see the more "verdant" west on a summer trip.
