I'm planning a hike sometime in July from Killington, VT to Glencliff, NH in mid July and was wondering about the water supply at that time. I may be able to push the hike up to late June if that makes any difference. Do you think it might?

Thanks,

The only trouble I had with water on that section was at Happy Hill Shelter. If the SOBO's can't give you a report on the water there, you can camel up at Podunk Brook, about 2.5 miles S of Happy Hill. Other than that, there was ample water at the shelters and many sites in between, and at least one stream N of Happy Hill before you get to Norwich.

I've never had a problem with water in Vermont. Although, I do make a habit of filling up 2 20oz water bottles when I camel up. Then use it based on what I hear from other hikers.

I did not have any problems in this section in either July or August.
