I just read the new companion has profiles in it. Is it possible to post a page so I could compare it to the at guide?

Go to the website http://www.theatguide.com/ and check out the sample pages under "about the book" > "features" > "data pages"

EDIT: Nevermind - wrong link, wrong interpretation, my brain needs more coffee

Sure, here are a couple of random samples. The profiles show exactly the same distance on each page, making it easy to judge difficulty, distances, resupply, potential stopping points, etc.

(4eb, pretty sure he was asking about the ALDHA Thru-Hiker's Companion (http://aldha.org/companion.html), not the AT Guide.)

I guess I'm biased since I'm a section editor for the Companion, but I really like the new format and the profiles. Makes for a harder choice for the end user, which in my mind is a good thing.

Last one I bought found the other day. 2001. Bet a lot has changed.
