I'm heading out soon, and decided I'd like to add an accessory bag to the shoulder strap of my Gregory Jade pack. I'd like to have easy access to my phone. a Samsung galaxy s4 active. I saw one online by Timbuk2 that looks as though it would work, but thought I'd ask for suggestions here before purchasing.

Osprey makes one called a grab bag. I have one on the way. The hip belt pockets on my Gregory are too small for most stuff. Hard to even fit a granola bar in it.

I have and like the ones by ZPacks: http://www.zpacks.com/accessories/shoulderpouch.shtml

I keep a water bottle in one and a camera/snacks in the other, but you can buy them singly, too, if you only want one. If you need it very soon, email them to see if they have it in stock.

Purchase an Eagle Creek accessory bag like this one from REI. Sew some velcro on the back. Attach to shoulder strap and place your S4 in it, in a zip-lock.
Eagle Creek Original Pack-It Quarter Cube (http://www.rei.com/product/866240/eagle-creek-original-pack-it-quarter-cube)

It's what I do with my S3.

+1 on the z packs. I keep my cell phone, ipod, and sunglasses in there, never had them fall out.
