I did something like this -- nowhere near as comprehensive -- for miles 655 to 1243 (from Springer.) It was printed on a single sheet and I carried it with me on that section. I carry maps, but no data books. Basically just to help figure out resupply points.

I took the same one and reformatted it to suit me (can't leave well enough alone) and added some info out to the right from here at WB. The person who really updates this earns everybody's thanks.

I think it's attached.

The information contained in the spreadsheet (Companion) is updated yearly.

Ha ha and you're from Pittsburgh (or at least living there) to boot! Good old Fayettenam- I'm holding it down here for you. I was born & raised about an hour SW of the Burgh in WV.

As for the spreadsheet, I have started modifying it to my needs, but seeing how I haven't set foot on the AT yet, I feel weird about trying to update it. I'll probably take notes on the particular area I'm going to hit this year (anywhere between Fontana Dam & Daleville, VA).
