I am looking for a tarp to cover my hammock. I prefer one with doors and light weight. Any suggestions.

If it has doors, I wouldn't call it a tarp.

And what would it be called, one with great knowledge? Inquiry minds want to know.

I have a Maccat Deluxe. No doors, but long enough to cover my long Hennessy hammock. Well made, too. Pretty sure he offers one with doors, too.

Or take a look at this post in another thread (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?102526-Poncho-tarp-over-hammock&p=1865962&viewfull=1#post1865962) - that looks like a great tarp.

Warbonnet Superfly, or if you can afford it a HammockGear cuben fiber tarp.

If you have a Trust Fund, this is what I would buy...

Or if you want even more room, move up to HammockGear's 'Winter Palace'

As alread mentioned there is the Warbonnet Superfly -- http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/superfly/.
Warbonnet also has a door kit for their other tarps as well -- http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/tarp-door-kit/

Wilderness Logics has the Oldman Winter -- http://wildernesslogics.com/Oldman-Winter-Oldman-Winter.htm
And WL also has door kits for their Big Daddy and Tad Pole tarps -- http://wildernesslogics.com/BIG-DADDY-DOOR-KIT-BDDK.htm & http://wildernesslogics.com/TAD-POLE-DOOR-KIT-TPDK.htm

How does one determine the length? My wbbb is standard length. Does the taro need to be longer?

I have the WBBB and the Wilderness Logics Big Daddy provides tons of cover. Most over on HammockForums use the smaller Tadpole with no issues.

Any of those tarps previously mentioned will be long enough for your WBBB

From Warbonnet's website --

The Blackbird is our original mosquito hammock. The dimensions of the hammock body are roughly 120"x 63", with an overall length of 101" from end to end (ridgeline length), this gives you 15-16 inches of tarp overlap at each end of the hammock if using an eleven foot tarp. The Blackbird is rated for a user up to 6'0". Hammock fabric is breathable nylon treated with a DWR finish. (Durable Water Repellency). Blackbird is available in several fabric types and also with a single layer body or a double layer body, the double layer increases the weight capacity and is also recommended for anybody using a pad as bottom insulation, you place the pad between the 2 layers which helps hold the pad in place and keeps it from sliding around.

I have a never used ( set up in back yard once) Hennessey Hex-Fly modified by 2qzq. Doors are attached at both ends and Pole pockets installed. 2qzq do outstanding work. If you are interested, I have about $247.00 invested and will sell for $175.00 shipped lower 48, paypal. I decided to go with a tent instead of hammock.

Warbonnet superfly is a great tarp and has kept me dry in some nasty conditions. I have recently upgraded to a hammock gear Cuben fiber tarp of the same dimensions and I love it. It saves me about 10 oz. vs. the superfly but it was very expensive!

I have a Speer Winter Tarp. Big, with full doors on both ends. trouble is, doors weigh something, so doors and lightweight don't always go together
