I have been section hiking in PA and have come across some pretty bad rocky areas. surprise. How is this section? Any really rocky areas? Where? Thanks.

There are some rocky sections but I trail run in that section if that is any indication of how walkable it is. I wouldn't worry much about rocks here.

That section is not too bad. The rocks get worse north of Port Clinton.

I hiked from 325 to Duncannon last week. Petters mountain had a bad stretch of rocks just before Duncannon. Are you saying there are a lot less rocks in this section?

Not too bad with rocks in that section like others have said.

It is much less rocky than the section approaching Duncannon. That's a really nice section your talking about doing, one of my favorites. Take your time and explore Saint Anthony's Wilderness if you are able to. I'll be hiking in that same area this weekend.
