Overnight Parking - FS42

Reading mix reports about parking at FS42. Looking to do a short overnight with someone who has never hiked before and thought it would be nice to go up to the cemetery and back the next day.

Would it be better to park at Three Forks and go a bit past the cemetery?

Park in the Springer Lot, you should be fine...just left my brand new Outback there for two nights, no worries. Safer to park there then at 3 forks in my opinion.

3 forks is more popular with locals. Lot of beer drinking rowdy hill folk parties. Draw your own conclusions from that
