Hey All,
Just turned 46 and setting foot on The AT for the first time ever in May for a long-weekend section hike. I'm hoping this is the first of many sections to come.
That's all I got.....

Oh to be young again! Where you going? I did a weekend hike in 1969 and Old Rag (SNP) in 1981. Am going out again (71 miles in VA) in July. So I'm not a first timer technically, but might as well be. I'll let other decide if I'm "old". Have a great trip.

We'll be in Massachusetts......heading the Mass Pike north to about the Dalton area, then back. Nothing compared to what most, if not all, here have done,(about 30 round trip) but it'll be a good shakedown and test flight to get me planning the next one.

Don't even try - yer too old !!! You'll just hurt yourself. You'll break a leg. Pull a muscle. Spend too much money on gear. Shoot yer eye out.

Welcome to Whiteblaze. Happy hiking. :welcome
