Does anyone know if the forest service rd to Deep Gap in North Carolina open? Off hwy 64 near Franklin NC.

It was about four weeks ago when my wife shuttled me to Deep Gap NC for a southbound AT overnighter. :)

Most seasonal gates in Pisgah and Nantalhala Forests usually open mid-April.
