Plans changed so will not be hiking from rock gap to NOC...only have one night for loop and I'm close to fht...thought about doing the standing indian loop again but it's farther away and have already done it several times...looking for 20 mile range for 1 night....

One from memory:
There's a couple trails out of NC that merge at Toxaway Creek. I recall noting that they could make a nice 20-ish mile extension to the Foothills Trail. The parking/trailhead would be in NC. Sadly I don't recall the name of the other trails and I don't have my maps or photos here at the office.
