I wrote up a short little article on Making Dehydrated Puréed Banana For The Trail (http://hikelighter.com/2014/05/25/making-dehydrated-pureed-banana-for-the-trail/) (as well as powder, for those who like smoothies) that some of you might like to read.

ps: dancing banana is the PERFECT post icon for this post!!

Even talking about smoothies , I still hate the dancing banana !!
Powdered banana for oatmeal, with powdered milk etc. sounds good.
Gez what's the name of the good powdered milk?

Without a doubt, the best powdered milk is Nestle Nido (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EQ5HUW/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001EQ5HUW&linkCode=as2&tag=52541358-20&linkId=BRLF2BAVBV4QKF2O). Get the stuff that is imported from Holland if you can, and not the USA produced Nido.

That's cool. I may try that.

I've made banana chips in the past, but even the banana-lovers had a lukewarm response.
