Hello! My name is Jonathan Romeo, and I am a reporter in Brentwood, Tennessee. As you may know, Gerry Largay, the woman who went missing in Maine is from Brentwood. When we heard ALDHA was forming a volunteer group to search for some clues as to her disappearance, we immediately sent out a reporter to cover the search. She arrived yesterday, and her first article can be viewed here:

She will write updates as the search continues this week (she is camping with the ALDHA) and we would love if there was some way you could spread the word.

Thanks!

The date "July 21" is used three different times in the article in reference to 3 different dates/events.

Thanks for catching that! The last time George saw her was the 21st and she was seen that night by southbound hikers. George and Gerry planned to meet on Tuesday, the 23rd. We are fixing that now.

Thank you for sharing. I hope they might resolve this mystery and give some peace to the family.

+1. Way to go ALDHA. I'm sorry I can't get away to join them.

The Maine Warden Service turned away about 160 uncertified searchers when Gerry first went missing.

The Warden Service's inability to manage the volunteers was the reason they were turned away. That the volunteers were "uncertified" had nothing to do with it.

It is often rookies or amateurs that make the big finds and contributions in many areas of science, and for the very same reasons. Volunteers don't require government funds for time spent.

But it's not pictured... at least not in the 2nd article.
