Since applying for the 2015 Warrior Hike I have been following their progress and they finally made Waynesboro, Va. They were staying at the Grace Lutheran Church Hostel. I drove over and met and congratulated each one and sat and had dinner. They are in great spirits and doing well. Here is a picture of the group.

Are they now a group of 6 or are there some ahead or behind?

I think there is 7 including the leader. They had 9 but lost the 84 year old man just after the start at Springer do to a fall and then the second one due to family or personal issues. I also met, MOFO, Ginger and Gilligan who were one year into new marriage(nice people) all were very friendly. We ate dinner, talked and had dessert and coffee. At about 7:30 p.m. I left after all was cleaned up and I got some pictures.

Hey JMB, I just received my retirement orders two days ago, 20 years 4 months and 3 days. YAHOO! No more civilian job and no more military, life is Great.
