After coming down from Dragons tooth, you come to VA624. A short walk west and then a jog to the left brings you to a gas station /convenience store. The book says it's 0.4 miles, but it seemed more like 0.25 to me. Anyway, it was a quick walk and once you get to VA311, it's just around the corner.
The new owner is very hiker friendly and the store is well stocked with all a hiker would want for resupply. Even fuel canisters. Also has a grill serving burgers and pizza. If your passing through on a Mon/Tue/Wen when the Home Place is closed, this is a good option to get a hot meal. Your probably going to want to resupply in Daleville, but this place has enough food options to get you the couple of days left to get there so you don't have to carry quite so much food out of Pearisburg.
If you get there late, it might be possible to camp behind the store - of course ask first.
