Along with ENO rainfly, your thoughts on this for a thru hike? I regularly use it for weekend hikes, camping and kayak trips since its so light. But wonder how it will fair along a thru. I think the cold may outweigh any pros. I can only really think of cons. But i still love it

What's the weight? From the pic, it appears to only be useful as a bug bivy. I'd leave it behind.

1lb 12 oz including the case- which is not necessary. It basically is a bug bivy, but i use the ENO dryfly with it when I'm not in a hammock.
