I'm planning a 3 day hike from Uncle Johnny's to Sam's Gap with two first timers in August. I haven't been on that section in a couple of years. Any issues with No Business Knob or Big Bald shelters? Also, have the water sources been reliable recently? Thanks.

Also, have the water sources been reliable recently? Thanks.I was through there last year and no problems other than almost getting killed in a late night storm.
As far as water goes, I went north from Uncle Johnny's in June of this year and water was everywhere and abundant. You shouldn't have any problems.
