I think these are alcohol stoves,(cant imagine what else they would be) but not sure? Not only have I never used one,but I def never seen ones like this.
The pic is of 2 of these.The whole thing is assembled to the left and then the rest is parts of the other disassembled.
Are these indeed stoves?
Have you seen this kind before and if so,are they any good?
Any tips on using these?fuel?Best way to carry a flammable substance in my sack...err,my pack :o
I found these at a goodwill that sells by the pound...I got both of these for less than $1.50...think I did OK.

Im familiar with chafing dishes in restaurants,but much bigger.These are small.

Yep, burners for either a fondue pot or a small chafing dish.

You can have a nice hors d'oeuvres or potluck dinner on the trail now!

That said, you can probably repurpose them, but I expect you can find better strength:weight ratio from something else.

Yeah, those are alcohol burners. They used to sell those at Walmart near the sterno. They go for about 15 bucks.
