Going up to SNP Saturday for 5 days.. Can anyone tell me how the water situation is between Blackrock Hut and Hightop Hut? Trying to decide how much to carry. Thanks!
It has been a wet summer. We saw plenty of water. Just bring a filter.

It has been an unusually wet June/July in the park so water is fine.
I hiked a 2 day section a few weeks ago from Pinefield Gap south and found streams full , water at the Huts running well.
Camped at Loft Mtn. last night in the southern district . Thunderstorms rolled in at 2:30 this morning and lasted till after 4 with heavy rain for much of that duration. Streams could be muddy.
