Info I just received from the ATC www.appalachiantrail.org/pathway (http://appalachiantrail.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=64f18e8ab0289e37511640181&id=f0a4496acf&e=ec7411ad51)

i saw this on Facebook the other day. Not bad.

it's not wanted or needed here. we already have a Friendship Path with personalized bricks. the ATC/USFS can't afford to replace a 20 foot bridge over a foot deep creek 5 miles north of town. $100 + bricks are a joke

Just curious. I have only seen these when i was living in Iowa. And it was at a park.

But is there a down side to doing this? I see you say its not needed or wanted. But is there a negative side effect to doing it, though?

It's been about 17 years since I have pledged $100 to do something like this, so I was wondering the negatives these days.

their will be so much work that would have to be done BEFORE the bricks even gets layed, so who's going to pay for that work, $100 dollars for a brick with your little name on it yeah thats a JOKE.
