VT section hike

Hey folks,

Looking for a bit of VT trail information. Headed to section hike there next w/e.

Is County Rd 20 just N of MA/VT border passable by car?

Is National Forest Rd 71 passable by car between VT 9 and Stratton-Arlington Rd

Are there any trails near Glastonbury Mtn, or relatively close by, that intersect with the AT?

Appreciate any information that's available!

20 and 71 are both passable by car. The West Ridge Trail meets up with the AT just south of the Glastenbury summit. You can take the West Ridge trail 8 miles to Bear wallow Trail then 2 miles to hallow rd which is right of of Rt 9 4 miles east of Bennington.

71 is better than most New England dirt roads. Almost mistook it for Stratton Arlington when I was hiking north.

Thanks to all for information. Definitely helps in planning shuttles, etc. Still looking for that side trail where my buddy can meet up with me between VT 9 and Stratton-Arlington Rd. He's in limited hiking condition so maybe 4-6 miles round trip. I know that's not looking doable, but can't hurt to ask. Thanks!
