NOBO section hiker starting in two weeks from Natural Bridge / 501. Completed 120 mile section up to there in July and water was scarce. Has there been any rain? Am I in for a tough, thirsty week on the trail in early September?

I was out in the Mount Pleasant/Spy Rock area this past weekend. If my math is right you'll be heading through there.

The creek by Cow Camp Gap was light but running.
The spring by Hog Camp Gap didn't seem to be flowing but had a pool of water you could pull from.
The piped spring at the Seely-Woodworth shelter on Tar Jacket ridge was light but ample.

From last month...
The spring at The Priest was pretty light.
Harpers Creek was running but light.
The spring by the Mau-Har shelter was light but running.

In most cases bring something to scoop with. It'll be difficult to fill in just a bladder in many locations.

It looks like on and off rain all this week so maybe that'll help prevent any more loss.
