LW,

Did Maineak give up on running that race?

Lone Wolf
10-10-2005, 15:53
He was supposed to run it this year with me but he's busy with landscaping and lobstering this fall. He hasn't run it in a few years.

I was wondering if the race was last weekend or the next, today. You don't need it but good luck anyway. Don't forget to get a truckers song in your head.

You like the Truckers? Well I'll be dammed.

I have a bumber sticker that reads:

MY MOMMA RAN OFF WITH THE DRIVE BY TRUCKERS!

They are from here where I live (Athens area). Patterson plays solo all the time.

Lone Wolf

Yup. Saw them live at this year's Smilefest near Asheville. Kick ass band!

I used to be in a blues rock band and we opened for the Truckers one time. It was the first time I heard them. That Steve McQueen thing is great. So was the Skynyrd tribute rock opera. Completely kick ass!
