Was "window shopping" and came across these briefs
http://www.backcountrygear.com/catalog/appareldetail.cfm/SW504
for $38.95:eek: .

How about a thread of the most high priced regular gear for a few laughs? Just the item, a link, and a price. No comments necessary from the original poster, as that would be explaining the joke. Just a bit of humor in the humor thread.

The very last photo ('bottom photo'?) of the website deserves special mention.

What could be more comfortable than sitting in the open, in the middle of a praire, on a toilet seat attached to your pickup, fishing a flooded ditch?

My local outfitters sold Arc'Teryx merino wool t-shirts for $80. I don't think they sold a single one. I finally purchased one once they hit the 60% off rack.

I love merino wool, but I hate the price. I'm still in search of a pair of merio wool compression shorts. Seems most of the wool undies are a little loose fitting.

And don't miss reading the testimonials at the bottom. Especially the one about the possum hunter and his cousin Cletus .

And don't miss reading the testimonials at the bottom. Especially the one about the possum hunter and his cousin Cletus.I can't explain why precisely, but I find the photo in the "How Strong Is It?" link - of four guys standing on a toilet seat and hugging each other - somewhat disturbing.

http://www.indipod.com (http://www.indipod.com/)We use to do this when I was a kid. We had a full size 15 passenger van (the kind that has 4 rows), but it only had 2 rows of seats. So, there was this huge 6'x8' space behind the last row. We'd always put a toilet back there for road trips.

And I know you're all thinking $59.95 for the Bumper Dumper is TOO MUCH:-?. Why, I could make that for maybe $10.00. It would work great with my bike rack above it, a little extra "grip". Just need a double hitch mount.

If any of you caught Rainman and Peaches video of their Grand Canyon Winter Hike at the gathering last weekend, Peaches wore one of the hunter orange thongs in the movie. We sold quite a few of them at the Gathering this year. A hot item!

Shouldn't that thing have a seat belt if you're going to use it with a vehicle. Has anyone called NTSB?

Sarge,

Think you could design an external frame backpack that had a flip down seat like that? ... maybe even a methane collector for a stove.

Alligator - if those stakes (Post #20) have a lifetime guarantee why would do they sell them in a 192 count package?

Continuing the theme of potty humor since it's always a crowd pleaser:

http://www.backcountry-equipment.com/accessrs/a-misc/tp.html

Ignoring the fact that ALL toilet paper is biodegradable, why pay extra for camouflaged toilet paper?

As the name is "Hide a Wipe" I doubt they are suggesting that the TP will be camoflaged, but rather after the wipe, the wipe itself will be cammo on the TP.
