Never hiked anything like it. Beautiful, dusty, smoky, extreme elevation and gains but, beautiful and awe inspiring. I was able to sleep under the most beautiful star filled skies every night except the last night. Stayed and swam in the most indescribable mountain lakes. Extremely tired and sore and the traveling home was tough but, something I would have never missed. I could have been better physically fit but, slow, steady and finding the path of least resistance was key. Went through the Ansel Adams Wilderness into Yosemite and climbed Gale Peak at 10, 500'. Many amazing pictures like this one. Next month doing the Bond Peaks in New Hampshire. Can't wait.

Great pics. I just finished a JMT-thru last month, and those pics took me right back to the trail. Thanks for sharing.

It's always amazed me that when at 10,000 feet the clouds are just right there, like you could reach out and touch em.

Sierra is the yin to the Appalachians yang. Or vice versa. Each great in their own ways. Of course the views out there are unbeatable
