I'm doing the section from Pearisburg to Daleville next week, I know there is a new section of trail that was completed in that area this summer. Can anyone describe where the new section started and ends?

the re-route begins just north of shumate bridge, thru the forested section(for about a mile and a half) to glendinin rd. and pocohontas rd.(crossing glendenin[paved] onto pocohontas[dirt]) about 150 yards the trail resumes, to the left, ascending up the ridge line about a mile to rice field shelter(where you pick up the original trail)

sorry, estimated distances are shumate bridge to glendinin/pocohontas rd., about 2 1/2 miles...from there to rice field shelter, about 2 miles
