I'm looking for an app for my IPhone 6 so my wife can view my progress as I attempt a thru hike. Any suggestions?

Send My Location, via the App Store. It'll send coordinates,Google Map links, or addresses (not too useful on the trail, but...) via SMS text, email, or copy a link to another app. And it's free!

Correction: the name of the one I use is "Send Location by SMS or Email". Still free, though. There are others that do much the same thing, with varying success (according to customer ratings).
