Hey there! wondering where most people think they might be in June?
NOBO or SOBO.
Thank!

Most will be back home after quitting. With a mid-March start, figuring a 5 - 6 month pace, many NOBOS will be in PA through NY, some as far as VT, etc. based upon start date and pace.

All up and down the trail, but mostly in the middle sections.

I started on April 1st this year and on June 1st I was in Pearisburg, VA. For reference I finished on October 10th and took 20 zeroes (defined as less than 1 mile of trail walking.)

I started April 4th and on June 1st I was in Duncannon, PA. Following YellowBeard's lead, (hey man! long time no see! congrats on finishing!), for reference, I finished July 26th and took 5 zeros.

I started April 1st. June 1st I was at the Captain's party in Pearisburg, June 19th in Waynesboro, VA (great town!) and started my hike through the Shenandoahs and was in Boiling Springs, PA on July 3rd (2 zeros there).

Good luck on your hike!

No real schedule, but we should be just about finished by then.

In Vermont we have very few AT thruhikers in early June, picks up by mid month and then we are wall-to-wall thruhikers in July and August.
