Disclaimer
I have no connection with this or any of the books or authors I post links to, nor do I have a financial interest in Amazon.com. I simply find free books that I think/hope might have some connection to backpacking and post the links. I have no control over what books are available. I do not have time to read/review every book I post. Not everyone will enjoy every book. Most books are free for a limited time, then return to their previous price.

Thanks for posting this, Perry. I'm the author of the book and saw this thread when I was Googling the book. I actually plan to thru-hike the AT in the next year or two and write about it, so I figured I might as well join the site now.

The book is still free and will be through the end of today (Friday). Thanks again for sharing it! Also, if anyone has any specific questions about the trek to Everest Base Camp, let me know and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.
