and after your thru---i would call them and see if they'd replace it.......

THX TN HIKER. The entire valve is spinning in the nozzle hole creating a virtually instantaneously deflation. I'm going to need a whole new replacement valve. I'm going to try an in the field Crazy Glue or epoxy short term fix it though. Wish I had some Seam Grip.

do you have a spare valve?

and im guessing the town that you are stuck in right now wont have what ya need........

hmmmm.........im trying to think if i have a thermarest repair kit at the house that i could drive up to ya.........

Try some Goop Glue. Very strong and flexible.

I'd make certain to call customer service at Cascade Designs.
I bet they'll replace the mat for you.
They have excellent customer service.
