Im a gay male and I, along with three friends, am starting my thru-hike in mid march. I was just curious if I'll be running into any other LGBT hikers along the way.

Oh yea there are plenty out hiking, sections, thrus, day trips...have a wonderful hike and stay safe. I ran into a dozen "family" members in just 2 days on the trail in MD.

Yes, many LGBT were a huge part of my Hiking Family all along the trail.
