anyone hiking in NC between xmas and new years

thinking about doing a section hike in NC for a few days after xmas...went same time last year...wondered if anyone else had any similar plans..

I may be interested, if my friend bails on me for the BMT hike we were talking about.

Anything hot Springs north is new ground for me.
