very small ziplocks

Where can I some very small ziplocks? Smaller than the snack bags at the grocery. I'm thinking about 2"x3", stuff like bandaides, pills, book matches, organizing small stuff.

You can find what you are looking for in an arts and craft store. Walmart has a selection but they are a little thin.

Joann's Fabrics has them, in the section that has beads, etc. Like mentioned they are thin, but work fine for carrying things short term.

Grocery store, in the Pharmacy section, little ziplocks for pills. We buy them all the time there. I can store about two-weeks worth of one-a-day vitamins and Ibuprofen in one little ziplock.

Also a great site for super small dropper and spray bottles (took a couple ounces off my pack weight: I use them for soap, salt/pepper, bugspray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, eye drops, neosporin, etc.),

I've found them at CVS... located in the same display you can find pill dispensers and such.

I saw some at REI the other day. Same are as the little travel bottle items.

I bought "pill bags" on Amazon that were about 2" X4" with a zipper top. They were very handy for carrying my vitamins and Advil, instead of carrying the plastic bottles those pills come in. They were fairly sturdy too.

I used hundreds from Walmart for my thru hike. Plenty strong enough to hold my magical Malto mix. Not a single break.

I just take a regular Hefty quart bag and cut off the ziplock and cut the bag with scissors to a smaller size and put in items and fold and keep tight with a small rubber band. I do this for my cell phone, my extra MSR fuel pump, my Thermarest repair kits, my small first aid kit.

Walmart in the pharmacy section or the dollar store - they actually have a pack that has 3 different sizes - at least at the one near me does.

Pharmacies typically have these in a variety of sizes for certain meds. Depending on how many you need and how good your local "connection" is you might get them for free with just a simple polite request.

I used these this summer. 4 mil, food safe. I used them for Ibuprofen, Aquatabs, spices, nido, spare batteries.

If you have The Container Store near you, they have a bunch of little Nalgenes and bags and stuff. REI has several sizes of the zipper bags in the aisle with the little wuite Nalgene containers.

Instead of carrying the plastic bottles those pills come in.

Carrying at least one plastic pill bottle medium size or large can be a good thing. You can stuff 3 or 4 wet wipes that has been dried out inside a bottle and rehydrate when you have the need with just a couple of tablespoons of water. After use add new wipes, add water and by the next time you need them they will be good. No wasting water.

You can also make them yourself. Start with normal size and use a soldering iron with a plastic cutting tip and a metal straight edge to make what ever size you want. With practice you can cut the bags down and keep a sealed edge.

If you purchase plastic bags, pay attention to how many mil thick they are. For my husband's LASH'er (multi-week section hikes) I first got 2 mil thick bags and they promptly broke. The next year I got 4 mil size 4x6 size. These also could not stand up to the abuse of being in the pack. This year I got 6 mil thick bags and they held up to the abuse. He prefered bags not with the same orientation as the snack bags you find at the grocery store. He found that with the short side having the ziploc, he could open and pour into his mouth while hiking. This way he could not get the food dirty with his fingers. Here is the link that I used.
