Cohutta Wilderness

Planning to hike for a few days in the Cohutta Wilderness whenever I get a good weather window and I'm looking for a good trail head that will be open in the Winter. Anyone know if Hickory Creek or the Little Bald Mountain area are open? If not, where might I be able to park?

Call the Conasauga Ranger District at 706-695-6736. They will be able to answer your questions. I know some of the access is closed during winter months and reopens in March.
