If any members are near Dayton, Ohio, I will be presenting at our local outdoor club on Friday, November 4.

The evening will center around a photo presentation and discussion about The Appalachian Trail at the Monthly Meeting of the Dayton Backpacker Campfire.

I will have my hammock (on a hammock stand) pack, and a number of ideas on display. There will be several hand-made walking sticks
given as door prizes.

I just might make the short drive over. Have to check the family calendar first. Hope you don't plan on wearing the breechcloth thingy to the presentation.

I was thinking about it.

But with temperatures in November, I will probably wear pants over it. :p

It would be nice to meet you. You have plugged my home page for hammock ideas more times than I have.

D***!!

I just checked my calander, I work a 24 hr shift that day, & it's somewhat unlikely we will be in the area then. But, if I get up near there I will decidedly drop in.

Checked the calendar last night. I should be able to make it. I'd love to see your WarmHammock up close, even if you don't put it on a stand.

I am new to backpacking and would like to attend. I have never been on the AT yet but have read whiteblaze for a while now. usually I am a lurker and don't post. I do have future hopes for a AT hike.

I will have my three season version of the WarmHammock on a stand, along with the TravelPod and a 5x10 tarp too.

I am going to make the drive up. New to hammock camping, and I am looking for some good ideas.
