Blind hikers

I and my wife are enthusiastic A. T. Section hikers. We've completed the Maryland portion, all 41 miles of it, twice and are planning a 75 mile weeklong excursion Through MD, WV, and into Northern VA next June. We also happen to be blind and, although my wife can still see sort of well enough to follow the white blazes, it is becoming increasingly challenging. It would therefore be really nice to be joined by others who can help just with this task. You've got to be able to keep up with us, though. :)

Let me know when you are doing the hike and if you start on a weekend I am free, I would be glad to help out and hike that section with you. I live in the Northern Virgina area and have a few brothers who would likely join also. Send me a PM or email when you have your dates firmed.
