Does anyone know of a camera pouch that will strap to the hipbelt of a pack and is big enough to carry a Canon t3i with 18-55mm lens?

There are several options, I use a fanny pack to hold my DSLR and lenses when I take the "big" camera out. The fanny pack attaches to my backpack and I can set it up so it can be easily reached without taking the big pack off. Additionally, it is fairly stable and provides a "pocket" the camera can reside in securely, even when open.

A "camera holster" will work. I like the stuff from Think Tank Photo, but there are many others.
