How to get from Atlanta to Springer today monday noon?
There's a bus 490 to Canton or bus 400 to Cumming, which one to take and how to continue?

Thanks for any help, arriving monday morning (today) by train (Amtrak) from New York

Pretty sure the best you're going to get is a private shuttle. I think there's a list on this site. There's also hitchhiking.

Not trying to nitpick, but why didn't you figure this out prior to leaving? Just sayin'

If you're on the Crescent Line you need to get off the train at the Gainesville, GA station. Start calling numbers on this list (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/docs/default-document-library/2011/04/17/AT%20Shuttle%20List.pdf) to get a ride to the trail head from the station.
