If you're going to compare them based on weight, you would need to find out if the weight of the one at REI includes the batteries or not. I'm pretty sure Dutch's is the weight without 3x batteries.

I've got a buddy that uses his every time we go out. If our kids join us he brings a couple of them. I thought I'd be annoyed by them, but they grow on you. I've been thinking of getting a couple of the inflatable solar lanterns. I can't get a set of these, or I'll never hear the end of it after mocking him.
