I will be leaving from Charlottesville Virginia on the 15th of March 2015 to travel to Amicalola Falls State Park if you need a ride or would like to share expenses for a ride to do the approach trail or to catch a shuttle at the lodge for Springer Mountain please PM me. The route I travel is I-64 to I -81 to I-40 Asheville's interstate 40 then to Franklin , Hiawassee / Young Harris , Amicalola Falls State Park. I live between Fredericksburg Virginia in Culpeper Virginia but will be traveling South 29 to I 64 Charlottesville. I usually stop between Irwin and Asheville and camp for the evening then drive into Amicalola Falls State Park on the 16th This is an annual trip for me as I hike a little and I do a little trail magic.
