Front Royal Hotel/Dinner

I will be hiking the Massanutten Trail soon and I'm looking for a place to stay in or around Front Royal after I finish. I don't mind staying in a generic chain hotel, but are there any local gems that you would recommend? Something more rustic or resort-like that would have decent off-season pricing? I will have a car, so location is not critical, but I don't want to drive an hour either.

Also, is there a restaurant in the area that you would recommend with a good beer selection?

Check out Naughty Girl´s Doughnut Shop while your in town. Also on the MT be sure and take the side trails for Strickler, Duncan, and Kennedy, they are all short and worth the payoff.
