I have read some books on long distance hiking. And I have some relatively small but relatively rich practical hiking experience.
So my question is addressed mainly to reals pros who have read the same books as I did. (And that's why they understand what I'm asking about.)
What important things related to long distance hiking are not covered by these books?
Books that I found the most useful:
- "Long Distance Hiking" Dan Feldman
- "Mountain Weather" Jeff Renner
- Oxford Handbook of Expedition and Wilderness Medicine
- "Backpacker's Handbook" Chris Townsend
