Planning a section hike for early May.
Would like to resupply (food and fuel) in Bland VA
Does anyone know if these type items are available there?

Seems like there was a Dollar General there but not much more, IIRC.

That is about right ... a Dollar General, a gas station with a Dairy Queen or something like that, a small motel, and a few other businesses.

Yes, you can get enough in Bland to make it the rest of the way to Pearisburg, no problem. Get a burger while your there too. It's even possible to have a cold burger and a warm beer for dinner too if you carry said items to the next shelter...

The grocery store in town previously closed. But a new one just opened in the same space a few months ago, Grant's. It is a local grocery store chain. They also have a Dollar General in town.
