Over the past couple weeks the high Presidentials received over 78 inches of snow setting a bunch of records for the month. I've been up there this time of year when the temps have been in the 60's and as low as the twenties.
You could see the snow on the Prezzies from Mt. Monadnock in Southern NH yesterday, which had also been snow covered until a few days ago.
Fun stuff. This is my favorite hiking season. Fewer people, more stark beauty.
