Parking at Fontana and looking for ride to Springer.

My buddy and I are planning to start our section hike this June and are looking to park at Fontana; any recommendations for 2-3 week parking please let me know. He is thinking of bringing two vehicles, park one at Fontana and then drive down together to Springer. I think it's a little over kill. So I'm also looking for a shuttle option the third week of June down to Springer. Any help would be great! Thank you in advance.

I'm doing the same thing in April. I'm staying the night at the Hike Inn at Fontana and they're providing a shuttle to Amicalola
the next day. You can park there for free if you use their services. They said they can provide shuttle service all the way to Erwin if I get that far, but they've quit going to Springer because the road is so bad. Call them for prices.

Good info, thanks, Harrison! Parking at Fontana in June and need a shuttle to Winding Stair Gap with a pick up somewhere north of GSMNP. Sounds like they can help. Thanks to the OP for posting!
