No stuff sacks for me. Only a single trash compactor bag as an interior pack liner and anything that I don't want to get wet goes in there.

For food I use the Zpacks bear bag which won't be packed inside compactor bag.

Depending on what pack u have.....I've found using a compactor bag for dry bulky items ie....sleep cloths & bag ...fill out bottom of my pack much better...I use a zpacks food bag for stove and food...first aid & tp etc in lil ziplocks inside a ziplock freezer bag in back mesh pocket..works good for me...ula packs have one main roll top...like one big stuff sack itself....I'm no expert but works for me!

I use several OR stuff sacks. I have them on down to a couple of liters for small things like electronics and first aid and a huge 35L dry bag for a food bag. I mix and match as needed for the individual trip so that they are color coded and my clothes bag can always double as a pillow if I need to lighten the load and leave my regular inflatable pillow at home.

LOL. I use an HMG Windrider pack. You are right ... no rain cover.

Add another ZPacks Blast food bag user, plus 2 ZPacks dry bags (medium and medium-plus) and one medium stuff sack.

And my pack is a ZPacks ArcBlast, so it is a dry bag itself (mostly).

What stuff sacks. Compactor liner and z packs food bag. I see a trend here.
