man, i wish i had one. I watched one of their early youTubes and found a typo in a legend. I hoped telling 'em about it would earn me a malty thanks... but alas, no. oh well.

Doh! hehe You should have been awarded!

I checked it out...the science behind is is actually pretty straight-forward. My problem would be with the weight of the bottle and the cost ($2.50/per) of the brews. :-)

Mags and the "The Trail Show" (Get on the Trail!) did a podcast late summer / early fall in which they sampled this at the end of one show. Then they had the creator bring more and discussed it on the next show. Like all Trail Show's it's about "More Bear, Less Gear". Well worth searching on Itunes and your Podcast App.

It is a neat idea but I won't be taking one with me, at least not on my thru. 375ml of liquor is just 3.5 oz. more than the carbonator on it's own and gets lighter as I walk..

I use something a little more basic.

They're lighter, cheaper, easier to buy, and less hassle to use.

I have this setup, but I don't get to use it much as much of my camping and backpacking lately is with my son's scout troop where I volunteer, and that would be a no-no. Due to lack of use I was thinking about posting it here to sell, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to ship alcohol across state lines.
