For the last week or so, it's been unbearably hot to sleep inside. However, since I got my nest, I was able to go outside (to the COLD!) and sleep just warm enough. the first night I was cold- but that was the fault of a sleeping bag that didn't want to behave and a tank top, not the fault of the nest. The next four nights I used a longer almost thermal top and slept great. The best thing about the nest is not having to worry about a pad or sleeping bag, it is so good!
It took me maybe 5-10 minutes to work out how to connect it right.
the compression is amazing! the it wieghs nothing. I'm sorry, sleeping bag, you just don't cut it.
minor gripe: I've had to pull some feathers back in (not out- reaching from behind through the fabric) but I put that down to rougher handling to get it to fit in the suitcase.
overall, I'm very impressed with the nest. I bet with a bit more experience, (learning to seal gaps etc) I could take it down to some LOW temps.
good job and thanks, Jacks.
