View Full Version : grand canyon, north rim - thunder river/deer creek trail info/advice needed
Gotta get back to the GC! Anyone have any experience with this north rim trail? Thinking of doing it in late october. Kinda unsure of the access to the trail head at that time and whether a 4-wheel drive is needed.

juma, go to www.hikearizona.com they have a good trail description of every trail in the canyon and it's a friendly site with lots of good folks if you want ask questions.

Depending on the weather, the North Rim closes around mid Oct or so. This trail is on my list as well. Hopefully I can get it done in the next couple of years.
